Today, developer Vertex Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games have released an extended trailer for their detailed sci-fi adventure, Silent Planet – Elegy of a Dying World. The newly released footage expands on the game’s striking vision of a dying future, with a chance to glimpse more of its evocative environments, narrative intrigue, and otherworldly atmosphere.

Set in the year 2997, Silent Planet – Elegy of a Dying World is a gothic sci-fi metroidvania steeped in cosmic horror. You’ll play as Apranik, a lone traveler venturing to a distant planet in search of an ancient artefact, believed to be tied to the origin of life itself. Get lost in atmospheric exploration with deep progression systems, psychokinetic combat, and a rich, lore-driven narrative as you uncover forbidden secrets hidden within the ruins of a world that should no longer exist.
