Indie game publisher Pineapple Works, together with Ruben S. Luis, developer of Sealed Bite: Extended, has announced that the game is out now on Steam for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck with a 20% launch discount. Console launches are planned for early Q2 2026. The game is an extended version of Ruben’s original “Game Off 2019” Gamejam entry.

Sealed Bite: Extended shares many similarities in general tone, art direction, and design with games like Celeste.

Sealed Bite: Extended is a fairytale metroidvania-style platforming adventure in pursuit of power, memories, and truth. Emilia’s family members start mysteriously vanishing, whisked away one by one as if by magic. Setting off to search the world for any traces of them, she is unceremoniously forced to do the bidding of an ancient wolf spirit. Is the power Emilia gains from it free to be made her own? Are the spirits her allies, or is she being led astray? And is she even looking in the right place?

Key Features:

  • Moody, expressive pixel art.
  • Satisfying exploration of a varied, vibrant world.
  • Fluid and intuitive movement.
  • Well-balanced difficulty – challenging, but not too much.
  • A world that is both ethereal and unforgiving.

A free demo of the game is available on Steam (Windows, Mac, Linux). Check out the trailer and then tell us what you think about Sealed Bite: Extended.
