Independent developer Regalcraft Games today announced a new release date for One Fenix Down, the studio’s debut turn‑based RPG inspired by the golden era of ‘90s Japanese role‑playing games. Originally slated for September 28, the game will now launch on November 9, 2026 on Steam for PC.

After nearly a decade of planning and development, Regalcraft Games is utilizing this short extension to ensure the final release reflects the full vision of the project. The additional time will be used to apply final polish across combat, visual effects, and the entire narrative presentation, ensuring players receive the most refined version of One Fenix Down on day one.

“One Fenix Down has been part of my life for the better part of a decade, and I want to do everything in my power to ensure the launch reflects the heart and effort behind the project,” says Ryan Dunn, founder of Regalcraft Games. “I promised myself that when I completed this game, I’d release it in a complete, polished state, just like the games of old. This short extension gives me the opportunity to keep that promise, and deliver the game that players deserve. One Fenix Down blends classic turn‑based battles with modern design sensibilities, offering a fresh yet nostalgic experience for longtime genre fans and newcomers alike. Developed with a focus on character‑driven storytelling, expressive art direction, and combat that rewards thoughtful planning, the full release features a complete narrative arc, a diverse cast of playable characters, and a combat system built around tactical decision‑making, elemental interactions, and party synergy.
