Game Outlet Europe, an independent distributor of video games and gaming accessories, announced today that leading gaming hardware brand 8BitDo has begun shipping their most advanced XBOX controller yet, with the Ultimate 3E Controller for XBOX available across the UK and Europe starting today.
Designed for professional gamers but accessible to all, the new Ultimate 3E Controller harnesses 8BitDo’s years of development and engineering know-how, delivering the next generation of Ultimate for XBOX gamers.
The 8BitDo Ultimate 3E Controller for XBOX is officially licensed for use with XBOX, ensuring full compatibility with XBOX Series X|S as well as XBOX One. Offering gamers a choice of a rock solid 2.4Ghz wireless, or a standard wired connection for tournament use, the Ultimate 3E is also compatible with Windows, and thanks to integrated Bluetooth technology, the controller is ideal for use with Apple and Android devices for mobile gaming on the go.
Key to the power of the Ultimate 3E lies in the level of customization available to the gamer, allowing them to shape the controller to match their competitive playstyle. Loaded with modular, swappable parts (included), players can fine tune their feel, swapping ABXY modules, Thumbsticks and D-pads.
Will it be smooth or perhaps you prefer tactile, gamers can choose between the silicone or micro-switch ABXY module for two distinct button feels in one controller. Gamers no longer need to settle for a standard or a circular D-pad, why not have both?! Classic precision or smooth directional rolls can be chosen via the two premium D-pad options available. With the Ultimate 3E, two standard Thumbsticks come equipped, with additional options including two Tall Thumbsticks, one Thick-Neck Thumbstick and one Dome Thumbstick, providing hot-swappable options for every gamer and every gameplay scenario.
The Ultimate 3E features an all-new design for 8BitDo, offering a wider grip angle to improve comfort and silicone side-grips for better stability during intense gameplay sessions.
Those playing competitively on PC can be assured of lighting fast reaction times, featuring a polling rate of up to 1000Hz. With Ultimate 3E, the dual Thumbsticks are powered via TMR technology, paired with a 12-bit ADC sampling chip that provides enhanced precision and stability. Interactive RGB Fire Rings surrounding the Thumbsticks provide real-time visual feedback during gameplay.
Hall-effect Impulse Triggers allow gamers to choose between two trigger stops, perfect for fast paced shooters. Furthering the pro-level specification, extra fast Bumpers (L4 and R4) deliver even faster reaction times when under pressure, and two pro-level Back Buttons allow gamers to remap action button functions to the rear of the controller, meaning there’s no need to take your thumbs off the sticks during complex maneuvers.
The Ultimate 3E features customizable 6-Axis motion control, allowing players to enjoy enhanced motion-based aiming and gameplay with 6-axis motion control when using 2.4Ghz mode on PC. Gamers can use the powerful free 8BitDo Ultimate Software X to tweak sensitivity further. The same software provides users with a massive selection of customizable options, including button mapping, Thumbstick sensitivity, Trigger range, Vibration feedback intensity and so much more, creating a controller as unique as the gamer using it.
When game time is over, players can store and charge their gamepad via the included Charging Dock, powering the internal rechargeable battery to provide up to 18 hours of continuous gaming when fully charged.
With an additional Accessory Pack included and complete with robust Travel Case, the Ultimate 3E provides a peerless experience for XBOX, PC and Mobile gamers.
The 8BitDo Ultimate 3E Controller for XBOX is shipping across the UK and Europe from today and is available across major European retailers and online storefronts for an MSRP of: £124.99 / €139.99
