Kuro Games has released Version 3.3 for its award-winning action-RPG Wuthering Waves, launching a major new update and kicking off the game’s second anniversary celebrations.
Version 3.3, otherwise known as ‘Reverbs From the End of Galaxies’, introduces three new main quests, two new Resonators, new weapons and cosmetics, a new area to explore, and a special collaboration event featuring Expedition Motorbike liveries inspired by beloved franchises such as Resident Evil, PRAGMATA, and Angry Birds. Full details on the update were first shared during the game’s recent community livestream, now available on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube channel.
Also arriving in Version 3.3 are two new playable Resonators: Hiyuki, a Glacio-aligned member of the Special Response Force, and Denia, a Fusion-aligned student from Startorch Academy. Players can also obtain the new weapons ‘Frostburn’ and ‘Forged Dwarf Star’, unlock Morney’s outfit ‘Plush Dream’, and venture into Dimmr Plains, a brand new region introduced in Version 3.3. For those seeking challenging combat encounters, Tactical Hologram: Sigillum is now available as a new challenge.
Version 3.3 also delivers a range of improvements and feature updates designed to refine the player experience, including:
- Accessories for Select Resonators: Players can now equip and swap compatible outfit accessories
- Expanded Expedition Motorbike Functionality: Including a new aerial mode ability and the aerial tactics module
- Interface Refinements Across Key Menus: Updates to the Resonators, Team, Data Bank, Guidebook, and Backpack pages, as well as new ways to view and switch a Resonator’s “Resonance Mode” in certain interfaces
- Additional Visual and Performance Enhancements: Including Anisotropic Filtering on PC for sharper textures, plus DLSS Super Resolution support for DLAA on compatible hardware
- Further Mobile Client Improvements: Including proprietary frame generation for smoother play on mid-range devices, alongside expanded resource cleanup and download options to reduce the minimum required install footprint
Kuro Games has also confirmed that ‘To the New World’, a global Wuthering Waves concert tour, will take place later this year. The tour will begin in Shanghai before heading to Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, and Los Angeles, bringing the game’s music to audiences around the world through a series of live performances. Additional details, including tour dates, will be announced via the game’s official X channel in the coming weeks.
