Indie game developer Spilt Milk Studios has been cooking up DLC for their wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin, and it’s available now for $9.99/£7.45/8.49€! Titled The Artist of Brimhaven, this premium DLC will add at least 5 hours of brand new story content revolving around you, a new district, and fresh starts.

Returning characters, Aimon’s cunning plans and ambitious dreams, plus a whole new way to reach out and touch the world of Trash Goblin await. Players will take their trinket restoration shop to the all-new district of Brimhaven, a quiet and abandoned place nestled in a large ravine on the edge of the chasm up in the northwest of Silver City. Once a bustling borough, the area was devastated when a huge bridge collapsed, causing widespread damage. Incredibly few people were hurt, but the parish’s bones were wrecked, and people were forced to move on.

Through a combination of your skills as a Trinketeer and Aimon’s opportunism, you’ll help the community revitalize & rebuild the run-down buildings of this once-bustling locale, filling its empty streets with cheer and making a lasting positive change for the inhabitants of Silver City. The Artist of Brimhaven is designed for people who’ve completed the story in the base game and can’t wait to see what everyone gets up to next.

That’s not all, as this expansion coincides with a huge free update coming to the game on PC the same day. It introduces an entirely new tool, nicknamed Hugh, that lets players swap materials and colors across all 400 trinkets in the game.

We really struggled to get it off the ground and relied on Kickstarter backing in its early days, but then we managed to bring it to Early Access, launch the 1.0 release, and now it’s sold over 100k units,” said Andrew Smith, Creative Director at Spilt Milk Studios. “That’s why we were able to continue work on it and create premium DLC and a free major update, offer some quality merch, and even give the game away for free this week on Epic Games Store.
