Tetris, the world renowned puzzle phenomenon, has officially dropped into Fortnite as part of Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, available now as part of Epic Games’ Gaming Legends themed season. 

As one of the best selling and most recognized video game franchises of all time, Tetris has appeared on more platforms than any other game in history, and its collaboration with Fortnite marks the latest chapter in its ongoing legacy.

The Tetris Outfit

A headline collaboration skin available in the Season 4 Battle Pass, the Tetris outfit is fully customizable in the style of the fan favorite Toona Fish design, letting players make their block inspired look their own.

The Tetris Rift

A new in match item that summons a cascade of falling Tetriminos before completing the series’ signature four line clear. Pull it off, and the payoff isn’t just points, it triggers a large area-of-effect heal for you and nearby players.

Tetris Match Hacks

One of only three cartridges confirmed for Override’s new Match Override system (alongside Sonic and Mortal Kombat), the Tetris cartridge lets players reshape the rules of an entire lobby. Drop it to reshape terrain, spawn a 1UP coin objective, or force an arcade style 1v1 showdown. Rows of Tetris blocks scattered across the map also heal players who interact with them.

Tetris Themed Terrain

The Island itself has been remade in Tetris’ image, with stacked blocks and Tetris inspired destruction reshaping locations including Sunken Shores.

AVAILABILITY

Tetris content is live now in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, alongside fellow gaming icons Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Street Fighter. The Tetris outfit is available through the Season 4 Battle Pass; in-match items including the Tetris Rift and Tetris cartridge are in the general loot pool for all players.
