The team over at Novice Flow has revealed that Sous Raccoon has released its 1.0 version and is now available on Steam. If you want to pick it up Steam is offering the game on sale until October 8th for $11.24, instead of the normal $14.99.

In Sous Raccoon, you’re Elmo, a raccoon thief turned sous chef, working for a Chef with a very short fuse. Cook the orders, serve the customers and keep the monsters off them long enough to finish the shift. Drop the ball and Chef fires you. Every run changes the restaurant, the upgrades and the kind of chaos walking through the door.

Sous Raccoon is an adorably hardcore cooking roguelite set across four restaurant worlds, each with its own enemies, hazards and kitchen layout. Earn upgrades and abilities between shifts, build a run that can handle the next rush, and prove to Chef that hiring a raccoon wasn’t a terrible mistake.

Key Features:

  • Endless Mode: Keep the restaurant open for as long as you can take it. Every day brings more customers and more monsters. When the run ends you get a score summary and a spot on the Steam Leaderboards, so you can settle who really runs the better kitchen.
  • The Final Boss: Kept under wraps the whole way through Early Access. It’s waiting at Stage 4.
  • The Bar: A new bar in the Lobby with three minigames, solo or in co-op. Mix Food, Tower Stack and Barrel Blast each have their own leaderboard where you can save your best run.
  • 13 New Skins: 21 in total, and some of them only unlock through Steam Achievements.
  • Your Own Room: Buy furniture and swap styles and colors, with a preview before you spend. In co-op every raccoon keeps their own room.
  • A New Soundtrack: Music for every stage that shifts with the mood in the restaurant, from easy service all the way to the moment Chef loses it.
  • Controller and Co-Op Polish: Menus on the D-pad or stick, Steam On-Screen Keyboard support, a new co-op tutorial and a long list of fixes from Early Access players.
  • Online Co-Op: Up to four raccoons in the same kitchen add to the chaos. Split the cooking and fighting and then argue about whose fault it was when the customers got eaten.
