With prices going up everywhere due to global events, it was only a matter of time before Nintendo would be forced to follow suit. That time has arrived as Nintendo has just announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 console will be going up in price later this year. The silver lining in this is that the price will not go up until September. That means there is plenty of time to buy one at the current price. Nintendo tried to hold off as long as they could, and they have even apologized for having to raise the price:

“We sincerely apologize for the impact these price revisions may have on our customers and other stakeholders, and we deeply appreciate your understanding.”
