EA Sports has revealed that Team of the Year is returning to NHL 26. This is used to celebrate the best of the best in hockey, and this year, fans will get to help decide who makes history. To get things going, EA Sports has unveiled the offensive Team of the Year winners, honoring the game’s best goal scorers and offensive playmakers.
Here are the forward winners for NHL and PWHL respectively:
- Connor McDavid, Center, Edmonton Oilers
- Leon Draisaitl, Forward, Edmonton Oilers
- Nathan MacKinnon, Forward, Colorado Avalanche
- Marie Philip-Poulin, Center, Montreal Victoire
- Hilary Knight, Forward, Seattle Torrent
- Sarah Fillier, Forward, New York Sirens
Fans also get to weigh in on Honorary Mention selections for both NHL and PWHL forwards by voting in-game now through January 5th at 5 pm Eastern. The Honorary Mention winners will be available in-game on January 6th. The Defense and Goalie nominees, with winners announced and available in-game, will be available on January 9th at 10 am Pacific.
