New beginnings take root today with Palia’s Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales update. This seasonal patch invites players to return to the Elderwood to explore the Zendruu Tree, heal the forest, uncover long-awaited answers to its mysteries, and deepen Friendship with the reclusive boy, Ulfe. The update also offers all the playful charm of spring with a toad-themed Lunar Path, a brand-new community event, and some buzzing Decor.

The Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales blends narrative questing with cozy creativity and collaborative adventure. From working together with other Palians to achieve community goals in the Open Season event, to personalizing Player Profiles with the updated Photo Mode system; this patch emphasizes connection to story, nature, and each other. Highlights from the update include:

• Explore the Zendruu Tree – Venture back into the Elderwood and stand before the ancient Zendruu Tree as players work to heal the forest and uncover long-awaited truths. Encounter Echolings, uncover the legacy of the Umbraan, and discover the origin of the Beast of the Woods, all while earning some enchanting rewards along the way.
• Ulfe Friendship – Embark on heartfelt Friendship quests and gain deeper insight into the reclusive boy Ulfe’s troubled past.
• The Path of the Tadpole – Leap into a brand-new Lunar Path featuring several levels of free and Premium rewards, including Frogbert-inspired outfits, Plushes, and more. Progress never expires, so players can hop along at their own pace.
• Photo Mode Foundations – Photo Mode is re-imagined with a cleaner interface designed to support future expansion. Players can now apply a Sepia filter and add their favorite in-game captures directly to their Player Profiles.
• Spring Bounty Bundle Board – Collect and contribute colorful eggs through Hunting, Fishing, Bug Catching, Foraging, Mining, Gardening, and Ranching to the Bundle Board. Earn useful rewards including Honeybee Lures and new Amaranth and Dahlia Tint recipes for the effort.
• Ranching Retirement Acres – Preserve your forever-favorite Ranching animals with a new retirement system that allows players to safely store companions without aging.
• Open Season Community Event – During this limited-time, 14-day event; Palians will work together toward shared Fishing and Hunting milestones. Contributions in the Elderwood count double, unlocking tiered rewards delivered directly to participants following the event’s conclusion. 
• Buzzin’ Decor – Sweeten the Home Plot with bee-inspired Honeybunch Decor pieces available through Tish’s Furniture Store and Inspiration crafting.
• Premium Store Updates – Embrace whimsical spring flair with the Floral Fantasy outfit, Lilypad Umbrella glider, Floral Fantasy Tool Skins, and more.
