3R Games, creators of the bestselling VR spelunking hit Cave Crave, announced that the game’s new multiplayer update goes live today on Meta Quest at 8:00 AM PT.

To celebrate this next major step for the viral VR caving sensation — and to encourage players to invite new friends to explore caves together — players can also use a 50% discount code for the game on Meta Quest, valid through April 19, 2026. The code is MULTIPLAYER-2CFB7B.

What’s new?

Early Access multiplayer allows players to explore underground for the first time together. They will crawl through tight squeezes, descend on ropes, and venture deep into uncharted caves, both fictional environments and faithful VR recreations of real-world locations. With no map to guide them, they must mark their route with chalk and find their way before their flashlight batteries run out.

Available at Launch:

• Up to 4 players in one game session
• 11 Maps: 10 caves from Story and Arcade modes + Nutty Putty Cave
• Avatar Customization — Players can change their hair, skin, and eye color
• Backer Skin Pack Owners — Those who helped support the recreation of real caves in VR will receive two extra skins
• 3 New Skin Packs — Cartograph, Reptile, and Sweetland — each feature 10 unique skins for player customization

As promised at launch, we’re continuing to expand Cave Crave with new free caves – says Piotr Surmacz, CEO of 3R Games and Game Director – The game launched with 4 maps, and with the upcoming Tham Luang Cave, that number will soon increase to 14.
