Today, during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Remedy Entertainment unveiled a brand-new “Altered State” trailer for CONTROL Resonant, featuring the track “Omen” by The Prodigy. The highly anticipated sequel to Remedy’s critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning Control puts players in the role of Dylan Faden as he unleashes the full force of the paranatural, tearing through surreal, reality-bending encounters and mastering different forms of the Aberrant to overcome overwhelming enemies and monumental bosses.
For the first time, the public will also be able to play Control Resonant at Gamescom, with a playable demo available at the Level Infinite booth in Hall 6.
With fluid movement, stylish combat, powerful executions and a world full of unpredictable threats, “Altered State” offers a taste of the fast, escalating action and gameplay variety awaiting players in Control Resonant.
Remedy Entertainment and ZA/UM Atelier have teamed up to create a five-piece, made-to-order collection inspired by the institutional wardrobe of the Federal Bureau of Control and the world of Control Resonant. Designed and crafted by ZA/UM Atelier with an emphasis on utility, longevity and thoughtful design, the collection brings garments inspired by the game into the real world. The full collection will be on display at gamescom from August 26–30. Pre-orders are available now via ZA/UM Atelier.
Control Resonant will launch digitally worldwide on September 24, 2026. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be available from October 15, 2026. Pre-orders for both digital and physical editions are now open.
Standard Editions of the game will be €59.99 / £49.99 / $59.99 (regional pricing may vary).
Control Resonant will be published by Remedy Entertainment. Annapurna Pictures is co-financing and co-producing the game as part of a strategic partnership with Remedy Entertainment.
