Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical games, announced the launch of Earnest Evans Collection on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, as well as their upcoming standard and collector’s physical editions that are currently available for pre-order.

Earnest Evans, the series’ titular game, was originally released 35 years ago for the Sega Mega-CD in Japan and the Sega Genesis in North America. Limited Run Games is now bringing this much-loved cult title to modern consoles, complete withexciting additions for a modern gaming audience. For the first time ever, Earnest Evans Collection includes a brand new English dub for both Earnest Evans and its sequel Annet Returns.

Scouring the world for the lost grimoire, The Necronomicon, to thwart none other than Al Capone’s evil plans, players will take on this 2D side-scroller with the peace of mind of being able to rewind gameplay and save their progress anywhere they like. Long-standing fans of the games will delight in the Mega-CD release’s cutscenes, which can be viewed in the museum option of the game, and fans of the iconic soundtrack can enjoy the 90’s Mixed Mode CD soundtrack on the included music player.

In addition to Earnest Evans Collection being available right now digitally on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Steam, Limited Run Games will also release a standard and collector’s edition available for pre-order right now through February 22.
