Rockstar has announced that the pre-load for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on November 10th. Initially believed to be starting on November 12th, gamers now have two extra days to download this enormous game.

Digital pre-loading on PlayStation 5 will begin on November 10 at midnight local time in your respective time zone. On Xbox Seires X|S it will begin on Tuesday, November 10, at 12 a.m. GMT. Code-in-box versions for both consoles should be available from retailers beginning November 12.

Being able to pre-download Grand Theft Auto VI so early is very important because according to Rockstar, it will require 212 GB of hard drive space. Both Xbox and PlayStation 5 don’t come with big enough hard drives to begin with, and I know I have had to spend some time clearing some space off of my Xbox for Grand Theft Auto VI. Not only that, but depending on your internet speed, it could take quite a long time to download a file of this size.

Also, on November 19th, Rockstar will add an official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and map of Leonida as a free digital download to the official site. A double-side physical version of this poster will also be made available shortly after launch from the Rockstar Store, for $0.99 on its own or as a free gift with any purchase from the store.

What do you think of Grand Theft Auto VI? Will you be pre-ordering so that you can download the game early and play it the moment it becomes available on November 19th? Tell us what you think on Bluesky and Twitter.
