Scott Pilgrim EX is here, and it’s the kind of chaotic, combo-happy beat ’em up that practically begs to be played with a friend. In this gameplay session, I’m jumping into the first 2.5 hours with my friend from Duck Amuck in Japan, to see how the combat feels, how quickly the upgrades start rolling in, and whether the game captures that classic Scott Pilgrim energy while still doing something fresh.
