Ubisoft has announced The Division 2: Echoes of Central Park, a new story DLC launching November 3 that takes players into Central Park for the first time in franchise history. Set in a flashback narrative following the events of Warlords of New York, the expansion centers on a mysterious threat tied to rumors, paranoia, and disappearances across Manhattan’s Upper West Side and Central Park.

The DLC introduces a new explorable area larger than Battle for Brooklyn, a companion system featuring three AI allies, new endgame progression mechanics, and new skills, gear, and rewards. Players can tackle the experience solo or in co-op, with automatic boosts available for those below Level 40.

First-Ever Division Adventure in Central Park

For the first time in franchise history, players will explore Central Park and the Upper West Side, including locations stretching from Lincoln Square to the Dakota District. The area serves as the setting for a darker narrative focused on urban myths, missing civilians, and a mysterious new threat.

New Story Structure and Companion System

Echoes of Central Park is presented as a flashback, with a narrator recounting events as players uncover what happened inside the park. Players will also fight alongside one of three recruitable companions, each offering unique combat support and story perspectives that can change mission experiences on replay.

New Endgame Experience

The DLC introduces an evolving endgame loop where players begin as hunted survivors navigating Central Park without GPS support before gradually gaining the tools and knowledge needed to turn the tables on enemies. Performance in encounters affects future opportunities and rewards, adding replayability beyond the main campaign.

New Skills, Gear, and Rewards

Players can earn six new skill variants, including the Corrosive Trap and Gas Bomber, as well as new gear and The Ratel Exotic weapon. Pre-ordering grants the NY Purifier Mask at launch, while the Deluxe Edition includes companion-inspired outfits and a weapon skin.
