Lord Robert Anderson is dead, and there are just two hours to uncover his killer in the cozy new whodunnit Clue: Murder by Death. Step into the sleuthing shoes of John Smith in order to solve the Lord’s murder before Scotland Yard arrives to take over the scene as Cocodrolo Games’ narrative-driven murder mystery, set in the high-society world of 1930s England, is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, and PlayStation.

The core of Clue: Murder by Death’s investigation lies in the multi-perspective narrative system. Here, truth is never absolute; each playable character sees people, objects, and environments differently, shaped by their personal history. The butler, Mr Benson, might find a missing knife in the kitchen suspicious, while the socialite, Lady Rose, could overlook it completely. Players must step into the shoes of every one of the mansion’s 10 residents to see the full picture.

It may seem elementary, but each replay of Clue: Murder by Death’s two-hour story gives investigators a little more of the mansion’s puzzle, creating a complex web of evidence. With numerous suspects to interrogate and 166 rooms to explore, players must identify contradictions to unearth hidden motives during each 2-hour loop. It is only once the player thinks they have the answer to those three all-important questions, “Who did it?”, “How did they do it?” and “Why did they do it?” that they can pull all of the suspects together for the dramatic accusation, in a moment reminiscent of the best Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes tales.

Clue: Murder by Death is out now. Check out the launch trailer and then tell us what you think. Will you play and attempt to solve the mystery?
