Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to arrive next month. Leading up to the release Activision is releasing small bits of information piece by pice to whet your appetite. For today’s news, there is a “narrative recap” trailer to check out.
This narrative trailer takes players from Modern Warfare (2019) through Modern Warfare III, tracing Task Force 141’s origins, General Shepherd’s betrayal and downfall, and Makarov’s rise as the series’ central threat. This trailer will set the stage for John Price, now operating off the grid as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion of South Korea, kicking off the story for Modern Warfare 4.
Players who decide to digitally pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will receive access to the campaign one week early, beginning on October 16. Everyone else will be able to play it beginning on October 23rd.
