Aegis Force: The Scorian War is the debut title from Deseret Games, a newly formed indie studio. Designed as the first entry in what the team hopes will become a long-running series, the game also marks the beginning of a broader slate of original titles planned by the studio.

Discussing the Kickstarter, Deseret Games founder Christian Smith said: “It has been a dream of ours to develop Aegis Force, and this Kickstarter campaign will enable our team to better reach our development goals. We also desire to give our community – and fans of tactical RPGs in general – a chance to help shape the vision of what the game can become. There are many fans of this genre who are underserved without a lot of options to choose from, so we aim to create something that they can be excited about and help birth a new series of games that they can enjoy for years to come.”
