Today, Tokyo-based developer and publisher 3goo released the first gameplay trailer for 4PGP, its upcoming multiplayer ’90s arcade-style racing game.

4PGP launches February 5, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. The gameplay trailer offers a look at 4PGP’s retro roots, with design contributions from genre veterans such as Kenji Sasaki and Tomoyuki Kawamura

Built to be a title that is easy to pick up and play with friends, 4PGP features:

  • Arcade Racing for Every Skill Level: Jump into four difficulty settings, Rookie, Novice, Veteran, and Expert, as well as an Assist Mode for younger racers.
  • Multiplayer Mayhem with Game Share: Race solo or with up to four players in split-screen, and join friends with GameShare locally on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, or play online with others on Nintendo Switch 2 via GameChat.
  • Multiple Game Modes: Hop into Quick Races for instant fun, tackle a full set of courses in Championship Mode, or chase perfect laps in Time Attack Mode.
  • Unlockable Tracks and Vehicles: Race and unlock an expanding lineup of 14 circuits and build out your collection of 19 cars.
  • 90s Vibe, Modern Tech: Enjoy a 90s-inspired arcade racing feel paired with modern visuals and performance, powered by a custom engine. On compatible systems, the game supports 4K resolution and 120fps.
  • Upgrade Option for Nintendo Switch Players: Nintendo Switch players who own 4PGP and are upgrading to Nintendo Switch 2 can add the game to their Switch 2 library for an additional $4.99.
